Our history

​

Our school opened its doors for the first time on September 3, 2009 in the community of Cot de Oreamuno in Cartago.

​

On June 7, 2014, the 1st KUKKIWON Black Belt Promotion was held, the chaired this test Grandmaster Nelson Brizuela Cortés, 8th DAN Kukkiwon, graduating our first students:

• Shannon Mishelle Rubí Sánchez (1st POOM Kukkiwon)

• Christopher Isaí Rubí Sánchez (1st POOM Kukkiwon)

• Angie Yulissa Ramírez Mora (1st POOM Kukkiwon)

• Esteban Madrigal Sánchez (1st DAN Kukkiwon)

• Luis Coto Sánchez (1st DAN Kukkiwon)

In 2011 we started looking for a rapprochement with GM. Nelson and his organization the NBC Taekwondo Costa Rica Association, for February 13, 2014 we express to the GM. Nelson our interest in being active members of your organization and incorporating your acronym "NBC" in our name, receiving your endorsement on April 29, 2014 within the framework of the Grade Test of the NBC Association in Liberia, Guanacaste.

 

On May 1, 2017, we received the appointment by Kukkiwon KMS (Kukkiwon Membership System) of membership and Do-jhang registered in the World Tae Kwon-Do Center and with it the authorization by Kukkiwon to certify Poom degrees / Dan. On October 11, 2018 we were nominated for the 2018 TOP RANKED KMS DO-JANG.

We have also worked hand in hand with GM. Jun-hyeok Lee 9th Dan Kukkiwon, president and founder of the organization Black Belt World Global Inc., his headquarters is located in the city of Knightdale in North Carolina. Since January 2013 we have maintained a very special and close friendship with GM. Read growing more day by day which has strengthened our ties of friendship. In early 2018, in Knightdale, North Carolina; and with the approval of GM. Lee created an alliance for the benefit and growth of Tae Kwon-Do in Costa Rica and the United States and incorporated its acronym into our name.

On July 30, 2019, we were notified by the Kukkiwon International Strategy Section of the nomination for the 2019 TOP RANKED KMS DO-JANG, receiving the same on August 12, 2019.
